Apology and National Financial Pledge to the Indigenous Peoples

Dear Parishioners please read the important Statement of Apology and National Financial Pledge made by the Catholic Bishops of Canada below.

A Word From Our Pastor

Father Vic
Dear Parishioners,

Pope Francis last March 27, 2020 offered his special prayers and blessings to the world in the midst of the corona virus epidemic. To quote, “You are calling on us to seize this time of trial as a time of choosing. It is not the time of your judgement but of our judgement: a time to choose what matters and what passes away; a time to separate what is necessary from what is not. It is a time to get our lives back to track with regard to you Lord and to others.”

As we are going through this epidemic – a time of worldwide renewal and purification, we choose hope over despair; kindness and generosity over selfishness and indifference. Jesus’ pain, suffering and death brought new life to the whole of humanity. Jesus is Risen! Let us, therefore, seize the moment to turn our lives to things that are good, right, true and beautiful. Turn your trials into blessings for others.

All blessings to you and your entire family this Easter and throughout this Season.

May you stay safe, healthy and in good spirits during this challenging and trying times. Keep the faith; God loves you and stay home. We are all in this together.

Sincerely Yours,
Father Vic
